Summer Camps
Camp Format
The Summer Showcase camp proves to be very different than the traditional day camps that are most commonly seen. We always strive to provide opportunities for the players to get an idea of what it takes to make it at the next level of soccer. With our progressive format, players will have a valuable opportunity to get a glimpse in to their soccer futures.
Each team will attend one session per day, lasting 1.5 hours, with a coach they may see at future levels of their playing career. We have featured an incredible list of coaches over the last few years, some of which are highlighted below. These coaches give the players a taste of what it takes to be successful in the next phase of youth, high school and collegiate soccer. Our college age players will also get a chance to showcase their abilities as potential recruits. For those who have committed to a university already, players will get an idea of what they can look forward to. Here are a few of the schools that have or will participate: University of Michigan, Oakland University, Butler University, University of Detroit, Saginaw Valley State, Grand Valley State, Sienna Heights, Purdue, University of Kentucky, Michigan State, Madonna University, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, University of Windsor and more!
In a traditional camp format where the players attend camp for 5-6 hours per day, fatigue often takes its toll and the curriculum needs to be adjusted to allow for recovery time. The single sessions should provide for an environment where each new coach that the players see can prepare an intense session that is typical to the level they currently coach.
